It is definitely better than what the Galaxy M20 came with. With the A30 wide Angle Lens, you can take pictures of crowds basically you can fit a number of people easily in one shot. The color and accuracy does take a hit from the test we did, but it definitely serves the purpose. Portrait too is nice but like the other phones, edge detection can be a bit of hit and miss but it does cover for that with the stunning accuracy. Sometimes backgrounds tend to be a bit blown out but that can serve as an effect as it does not actually harm the image that you take. You also have the option of blurring the background before you actually take the snap , this is a feature I see most people using.

It earlier was used to be found only in professional cameras but now that it can be found in Samsung A30, it is a huge advantage.

I would say that on low light it can be basically unusable, the images lack sharpness and a few more qualities. The number of details it captures is great considering its also not as powerful as a front camera. With the selfie camera, the background also appears to be blown out as earlier stated but this also makes you pop out even better. All the attention will be to you as the background would be kind of blurred out but enough for someone to make out what is behind you. For example, if you get a message from messenger while gaming, things start to freeze and can make the process frustrating.

Samsung could definitely have given us a much better performance device but if you take a look at its price. It is a good performer but if your top most priority is speed and performance then maybe you should take a look at the Samsung A The Samsung Bloatware Apps like Samsung notes and such can be completely un-installed which is also great t see.
